Letter from the CRLA President
Dear NWCRLA Members and Friends,
Welcome to the Northwest CRLA Chapter and to the College Reading & Learning Association. CRLA strives to provide post-secondary academic and learning professionals with an open forum to discover and exchange research and practices that enhance student success. We are thrilled that you are a part of our regional organization, and we hope you will consider becoming more involved both in the NWCRLA and in our international organization. Below are a few suggestions:

1. Join CRLA! Become a member of our international organization! Visit our Membership Benefits page for details.
2. Get involved in NWCRLA! Connect with colleagues in your area and to learn about upcoming NWCRLA activities close to your home!
3. Join a SIG! CRLA has twelve Special Interest Groups, each with a specific focus within the areas that reading and learning assistance professionals work.
4. Prepare for our 52nd Annual Conference! Begin planning your presentation proposal or reach out to Kathy Stein, President-Elect and Conference Chair, to volunteer at our 2019 conference in New Orleans.
5. Become a CRLA Leader! Visit our Leadership Opportunities page to learn about exciting ways to serve CRLA and its members.
